Cleaner Living

Fear is a great source of complexification. We fear losing things. So we try to set up systems to prevent loss, or replace it. And systems are complex.

This sounds like contracts. Promises to other people. If this, then that.

These systems have a cost. They need to be maintained. But actually, we don't want to do that. We want to 'set and forget' it. But you can't.

So we get more systems to remind us of things.

More complexity.

A simpler way is to believe in your ability to overcome the future loss. Someday, you will lose. This is the way of the world. Acceptance ushers in a simpler life, and this saves your energy and produces great vitality.
